Homework Policy
Homework must be completed and in class on the due date.
1 day late=1/2 credit
More than one day late=ZERO
When assignment is for a grade: each day late, assignment drops 5 points
For example, if you turn in an assignment 3 days late, you will LOSE 15 points and your grade begins at an 85%. After 5 school days, it is a ZERO!
Absence Policy
If you are out of the classroom for any reason, it is your responsibility to make up all work and show it to your teacher.
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to collect the work that was missed, talk to the teacher, and complete the work in a timely manner.
For each day you are absent, you have 1 day to complete the missed work.
EXAMPLE: If you are absent on Monday and return to school on Tuesday, your work from Monday and Tuesday are due on Wednesday-NO LATER!!
It is very helpful when you are absent to have a friend or neighbor bring your work home so you don’t get behind. Also, please check the school website for classroom assignments. (www.mansfieldschool.com)
