Public Notice of Rescind/Replace Superintendent Contract
Superintendent Contract Hearing Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:11-11, the Mansfield Township Board of Education (hereinafter the "Board") is providing notice of its intent to hold a public hearing and to take action to rescind/replace the Employment Contract to the Superintendent of Schools at its regular meeting to be held on October 12, 2021, at 6:30p.m. at the Mansfield Township Elementary School media center located in Columbus, NJ. This notice serves to meet the required 30-day notice prior to taking action and the 10-day notice of a public hearing as required by the statute. Prior to any action, the Board will permit the public to make comment on the proposed contract.
The Board, pursuant to Open Public Meetings Act, specifically N.J.S.A. 10:4-12(b) shall not publicly discuss personnel matters and shall not respond to comments made by members of the public. However, the Board will give all comments appropriate consideration.
