    The Mansfield Village Before and After School Program

     

    The MVP mission is to provide quality before-school and after-school care in a safe, recreational environment for all Mansfield Township School District students that fosters mutual respect and offers children a variety of activities.

     

    • Before school program operated starting at 6:45 a.m.
      • Open to all children in the district attending K – 6th grade.
    • After school program operated until 6 p.m.
      • Open to all children in the district attending K – 6th grade.
    • Located at the Mansfield Township Elementary School for all grades (K-6). Transportation will be provided for JHES  students traveling from MTES in the morning and to MTES in the afternoon.                                                                                                                             
    • Breakfast and after school snacks included. Pizza is provided on all early dismissal days.

    Daily Routine:

    • Before School Program hours are 6:45-8:30 a.m. on every school day except delayed openings. Drop off is on the right side of MTES at the cafeteria doors.
    • After School Program hours are 3:30 – 6:00 p.m. Pick up is at the gym doors of MTES until 6:00pm. 
    • Students will enjoy a snack or breakfast (provided by MVP or they may bring their own as long as they follow MTES dietary and food restriction guidelines.)
    • Supervised homework sessions will follow and staff will be on-hand to answer questions the students may have.
    • Staff will prvide alternate activities for students that do not have homework or have finished.
    • Following the homework session, students will have the option to play organized games or independent activities in the gym or outside (weather permitting).
    • The balance of each day will be spent in a variety of activities including (but not limited to) indoor games, arts & crafts, computer time or occasionally a movie.
    Pick Up: For the safety of the children, a valid id is required to pick up your child.
     
     
    Monthly tuition for the school year is as follows:
