The paramount consideration of the Buildings and Grounds Department is to provide a clean, safe, and healthy environment for the students and staff of the Mansfield Township School District while maintaining mechanically sound facilities conducive to the educational process.

Since 2017, we have replaced 225 fluorescent light fixtures with energy efficient LED flat panel light fixtures with Light Cloud lighting control. These fixtures use 1/3 of the energy as a conventional fluorescent fixture, helping the district further reduce our energy consumption.
