MTES - Principal
Welcome to MTES! My name is Glenn Kershner, and I am entering my 15th year as the Principal of Mansfield Township Elementary School. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware. Coming from a long line of educators, I chose to pursue my elementary teaching certificate at RowanUniversity. Upon completion of the program, I began working in the Cherry Hill School District as a fifth and sixth grade teacher. During that time, I continued my education at Rowan University and was awarded my Master's Degree in School Administration. Upon completion of the program, I was hired as the Vice-Principal of two schools (K-4 and K-6) in Mantua Township, New Jersey.
My prior curricular experience includes standards-based math, writer's workshop, and balanced literacy. Other administrative experience includes data analysis, curriculum development, public relations, and supervision.
I currently reside in Gloucester County, New Jersey with my wife, two daughters, and son. On the weekends, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, and watching the Philadelphia Eagles. GO EAGLES!
